Kimberley Michaela: I started working in Salons at the age of 15, as a saturday shampoo girl in a salon in Benalmadena, Spain. I then grew to love hairdressing so much which gave me the confidence to start my Level 2 course in a British Hair Academy in Torremolinos, Spain. When I had finished my basic training I worked in a small salon up until the point later that year, when I decided to go to the UK to do my advanced Level 3 training. I had family living in Edinburgh so it was the most logical choice. I went to college and worked as a Junior Stylist in a salon uptown. It was a very vital step to my hairdressing career to have done my Level 3 training as it brought me so much more into the advanced methods of Colouring, Cutting and most of all Styling. I have worked for several salons after finishing my Level 3, both in Edinburgh and Spain. I then lived in Malta for a year, and added that country to my list. I love travelling and gaining experience in different countries which have different cultures it has definately broadened my perspective. I am now residing back in Edinburgh where I'm enjoying working freelance, and styling hair on photoshoots.
